A hugely successful night again for our 2nd annual spring ball. Welcoming over 90 guests to Lochter, Oldmeldrum, we were delighted to raise over £6,000 this year.

YPI Win for Mintlaw Students
A group of students from Mintlaw Academy chose Gordon RDA as their chosen charity for their Youth Philanthropy Initiative project
Aberdeen Students Show
We welcomed students from Aberdeen Student Show recently. Last year we were silver beneficiaries from the funds raised by the show and received £3,187.05 which went towards the purchase of a new Horse.
Sensory Trail
Our sensory trail has had a makeover over the last few weeks to get it ready for use in the spring/summer.
In Memory of Billy Fraser
On Friday 28th April we had a visit from representatives of Garlogie Bowling Club who presented us with a cheque for £4,100 raised at an event held in memory of our beloved Farrier, Billy Fraser who sadly passed away in October 2024.
Family Fun Gala Day
Our family fun gala day on 21st September was a huge success. Great fun was in abundance and we raised just over £2,000. Our thanks to those who attended and supported the event.
Garioch Charities Shop awards small grant
On Tuesday 18th June, The Garioch Charities Shop held its annual small grants presentation ceremony at the Hopeville in Inverurie. Our Chair, Fiona Pearson attended and collected a cheque for £500
Nucore Group replace council funding cuts
Our Spring Ball Sponsors Nucore Group have stepped in with an additional donation to replace funding lost by Aberdeenshire Council budget cuts.
ASDANs Awarded
We are delighted to announce three RDA participants have achieved an ASDAN qualification in Stable Management.
