ASDANs Awarded

We are delighted to announce three RDA participants have achieved an ASDAN qualification in Stable Management.

The course run by our Coach, Ian Duncan, assisted by volunteers, Karen Moore, Carole Johnston and Deb Mackay is the first one run by the group with more courses to follow.

The three participants Emma Stelmach (44) Cody Garvie (14) and Jake Angus (14) all from the Kemnay, Inverurie area are all very happy and excited to have gained an ASDAN qualification.

We are extremely proud of Emma, Cody and Jake who have worked so hard to achieve this education award. Many of our RDA participants find school or college daunting and sitting exams beyond their reach, but our Stable Management course offers an opportunity to gain a recognised qualification. ASDAN’s mission is to engage, elevate and empower learners with diverse needs and we believe Emma, Cody and Jake have fulfilled this mission with a very positive outcome for each of them. It certainly has been a pleasure to coach them and celebrate their weekly achievements and confidence growing.
