Our Spring Ball Sponsors Nucore Group have stepped in with an additional donation to replace funding lost by Aberdeenshire Council budget cuts.

Over 25 children were at threat of losing their regular weekly riding sessions after their funding was stopped at end of March 2024. The generous donation by Nucore Group means the children can continue their weekly sessions till the summer of 2025.

On June 4^th we were delighted to welcome Chief Executive Mike Bryant and Directors John Moore and Shaun Struthers to Tweeddale to meet our wonderful ponies and see the impact the sessions have on the schoolchildren.

Director John Moore said of his visit “ It’s the volunteers at Gordon Riding for the Disabled that make this place so special. I am so proud to be in a position where we can support the wonderful work they do, the absolute joy this brings to the people that attend and the enormous benefit this brings to their lives.”
