We take the health and safety very seriously. All our coaches have first aid training and current first aid certificates. We provide good quality riding hats and boots for each participant, although some participants choose to provide their own equipment. Hats are checked regularly and updated every 3 years where appropriate. All our volunteers are trained and all our procedures are risk assessed. We have public liability insurance.

We manage the facilities to ensure that our facilities are safe to use through an extensive programme of maintenance that includes everything from the security and integrity of the infrastructure to electrical and fire safety and have first aid equipment throughout our facilities and we hope to have a defibrillator in place shortly.

We hold a local authority riding school license that is checked by the authority to ensure compliance with legislation, including checks by licensed veterinary practitioners.

We comply with all Government regulations and guidance in place at any time.
